Effective Date: [DATE BEFORE LAUNCH]Last Updated: [DATE BEFORE LAUNCH]

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the relationship between BreakThru Mobile Detailing (“BreakThru,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) and any customer (“you,” “your”) who books, schedules, or receives detailing services from us.

By booking an appointment, submitting a quote request, or using our website, you agree to these Terms in full.

If you have questions, contact us at: Email: info@breakthrumobile.comWebsite: breakthrumobile.com

1. Bookings and Appointments

Booking confirmation

Submitting a booking request or quote form is not a confirmed appointment. Your appointment is confirmed only when you receive written or verbal confirmation from BreakThru Mobile Detailing.

Scheduling

We will contact you after receiving your booking request to confirm a date, time, and location. Appointments are subject to availability.

What we need from you

To complete your service, you are responsible for:

  • Providing a safe, legal, and accessible work location
  • Ensuring the vehicle is accessible and unlocked as needed for the service
  • Disclosing any known vehicle conditions that could affect the service (see Section 4)
  • Removing personal belongings, valuables, and fragile items before service begins
  • Ensuring adequate space and lighting at the service location

We reserve the right to reschedule or refuse service if conditions at the location are unsafe, inaccessible, or unsuitable for professional detailing work.

2. Pricing and Estimates

Prices are estimates

All prices listed on our website, in quotes, or in any marketing materials are baseline estimates. Final pricing may vary based on:

  • Vehicle size (sedan, SUV, truck, van, oversized vehicle)
  • Vehicle condition at the time of service
  • Level of contamination (dirt, grease, road grime, tar, bug splatter)
  • Pet hair presence and severity
  • Stains (type, age, and penetration depth)
  • Odor severity
  • Mold or mildew
  • Biohazardous materials
  • Paint condition, oxidation, or clear coat damage
  • Excessive buildup in crevices, vents, or hard-to-reach areas
  • Requested add-on services
  • Access or parking conditions at the service location

Pre-service price confirmation

We will confirm the final price with you before beginning any work. You have the right to decline service at that point with no charge. Once service begins, the confirmed price applies.

Additional charges

If conditions discovered during service require additional time or materials beyond the original scope, we will notify you before proceeding with any work that would result in additional charges.

3. Payment

[PLACEHOLDER: Fill in accepted payment methods — e.g., cash, Zelle, Venmo, Square, Apple Pay, credit card]

Payment is due at the time of service unless a different arrangement has been agreed to in writing.

We do not store payment card information. Any card payments are processed through a secure third-party payment processor.

Chargebacks and disputes

If you have a concern about a charge, please contact us at info@breakthrumobile.com before initiating a chargeback. We are committed to resolving billing issues directly and promptly.

4. Vehicle Condition Disclosure

You agree to disclose any known conditions about your vehicle before service begins, including but not limited to:

  • Loose, cracked, or damaged trim or molding
  • Failing, peeling, or previously repaired clear coat or paint
  • Aftermarket paint, wraps, or custom finishes
  • Old, cracked, or bubbling window tint
  • Electrical issues, including sensitive electronics, alarms, or dash cameras
  • Leaks (roof, windows, sunroof, doors)
  • Convertible top condition
  • Child seats (we will work around them; we do not remove them)
  • Aftermarket parts or modifications

Failure to disclose known conditions may affect your ability to make a claim for damage related to those conditions.

5. Pre-Existing Damage

Documentation

We photograph vehicles before and after every service for quality control and documentation purposes.

No liability for pre-existing conditions

BreakThru Mobile Detailing is not responsible for damage, wear, or defects that exist before service begins. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Paint chips, scratches, swirl marks, or clear coat failure
  • Cracked, brittle, or discolored plastic trim
  • Faded, worn, or damaged leather or fabric
  • Loose, failing, or improperly installed accessories or trim
  • Structural damage or rust
  • Pre-existing stains, odors, or embedded contamination
  • Any condition caused by previous repair work or third-party products

Customer inspection of the vehicle before service begins is encouraged. If you notice any pre-existing damage that concerns you, please point it out before work starts so it can be documented.

6. Results and No Guarantee

We bring professional skill, premium products, and genuine care to every vehicle. However, detailing has limitations and we cannot guarantee the complete removal of all defects.

The following conditions may be permanent or beyond the scope of detailing services:

  • Deep, set stains in fabric, carpet, or leather
  • Embedded pet hair that cannot be fully extracted
  • Persistent odors from smoke, mildew, biological sources, or chemical exposure
  • Paint scratches or swirl marks that have penetrated below the clear coat
  • Water spots or mineral deposits bonded to glass or paint
  • Oxidation that has progressed beyond the surface
  • Headlight clouding caused by internal lens degradation

We will tell you honestly if a condition is unlikely to be fully resolved before we begin. We never want you to pay for a result that isn't achievable.

7. Customer Property

You are responsible for removing the following from your vehicle before service:

  • Money, wallets, and credit cards
  • Electronics (laptops, tablets, phones, GPS devices)
  • Important documents
  • Medication
  • Weapons or firearms
  • Fragile or irreplaceable items
  • Aftermarket accessories you do not want moved

BreakThru Mobile Detailing is not responsible for loss of or damage to personal items left in the vehicle during service.

If we discover a valuable item in the vehicle before starting, we will document it and notify you.

8. Weather and Access

Weather rescheduling

Professional detailing requires appropriate weather conditions. We reserve the right to reschedule your appointment due to:

  • Rain, high winds, or severe weather
  • Extreme heat that could affect product performance or vehicle surfaces
  • Conditions that pose a safety risk to our team or your vehicle

We will contact you as early as possible to reschedule. There is no fee for weather-related rescheduling.

Inaccessible vehicles or locations

If we arrive and cannot access your vehicle or location due to circumstances within your control (locked vehicle, blocked access, no-show, unsafe location), a trip fee may apply. See Section 9.

Environmental and runoff compliance

We reserve the right to modify or refuse service if the work location does not allow safe, lawful control of wastewater and runoff. We do not allow soap, chemicals, or debris to enter storm drains or gutters. If a location is unsuitable, we will discuss alternatives or reschedule.

9. Cancellations and No-Shows

Cancellation policy

We ask for at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

  • Cancellations with 24+ hours' notice: no charge
  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice: [PLACEHOLDER: decide — e.g., no charge for first occurrence, $25 fee after that, or a flat fee]

No-shows

If we arrive at your confirmed appointment location and cannot reach you or access the vehicle, this is considered a no-show. [PLACEHOLDER: decide no-show fee — e.g., $35 trip fee]

Deposits

[PLACEHOLDER: decide whether deposits are required and whether they are refundable]

10. Photos and Marketing

Documentation photos

We photograph vehicles before and after every service for internal documentation and quality control. These photos are kept for our records.

Marketing use

We may ask to use before-and-after photos for marketing purposes (website, social media, promotional materials). We will always ask for your permission before using photos that show your vehicle, license plate, home, driveway, or any identifying information.

If you give permission, we will blur or remove license plates, addresses, and any personal identifiers unless you specifically consent to their inclusion.

You can withdraw marketing consent at any time by emailing us at info@breakthrumobile.com.

11. Reviews and Testimonials

We welcome honest reviews. We never offer compensation, discounts, or incentives in exchange for positive reviews. Any testimonials displayed on our website reflect the genuine experiences of real customers.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BreakThru Mobile Detailing's total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

We are not liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of use of your vehicle
  • Damage caused by pre-existing conditions (see Section 5)
  • Damage caused by materials, parts, or finishes that were defective, aging, or improperly installed before our service

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be excluded under California law.

13. Dispute Resolution

If you have a concern about our service, please contact us first at info@breakthrumobile.com. We want the opportunity to make it right.

If a dispute cannot be resolved directly, it will be governed by the laws of the State of California. Any legal proceedings will take place in Orange County, California.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on our website with a new “Last Updated” date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
